Delete Your mehenot Account & Data
This page explains how to delete your account on mehenot (the freelancing marketplace app and website by mehenot), what data is deleted, and what is retained.
Delete your account in the app
- Sign in and open Settings (mehenot.com/settings).
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm. Deletion takes effect immediately.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access your account, email support@mehenot.com from the address registered to your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We process requests within 30 days. You can also use this address to request deletion of specific data without deleting your whole account.
What is deleted
- Your account and login credentials
- Profile information, portfolio items, and avatar
- Service and project listings
- Messages and notifications
What is retained, and for how long
- Transaction and payment records — retained for up to 5 years where required for legal, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations.
- Records of disputes or policy violations — retained as needed to protect other users and comply with law.
